Happy Monday, everyone! We had a very busy weekend at the Holiday Fair here in Greenville. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday we met lots of old friends and many new ones. We are very thankful for those who stopped by our booth at the Fair. It was fun meeting some of you who follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter!
If you are local to the Greenville area of South Carolina, you can still find us at a few more Christmas markets. This Friday and Saturday we will be at the Mauldin Holiday Market as part of their 12 Days of Christmas festivities. You can find out more details here. On Saturday, we will also be at our table at the Greenville State Farmers Market on Rutherford Road from 8:00 until noon. We will have lovely Christmas gift baskets as well as our popular muth jars. Lots of other vendors will be at both these locations, so stop by for those final Christmas gifts! Be sure to look for our fuzzy honey bear which was a big hit at both the Holiday Fair and the Greenville State Farmers Market over the weekend. We had 2 of these bears, and someone bought one of them for a grandchild's Christmas gift!
As autumn comes to a close and winter begins, we are all concerned about staying healthy. Pure, raw, unprocessed local honey is a great benefit to your health. It is great for allergy sufferers; it helps keep skin smooth and clear; and combined with turmeric, it helps with inflammation. You can find a great recipe here.
At the recommendation of a friend, I began using local honey several years ago to help with my allergy problems. After about 6 months, I was totally off all OTC allergy meds. I still use local honey in my hot tea every morning to maintain good health. Give it a try if you haven't already! You won't be disappointed!
